Zinc
Roots
I was born in Hannover and have lived in Basel for 28 years.
Studies
At the Schola Cantorum I took my soloist diploma in 1999 in the class of Bruce Dickey.
Professionally
I teach the zinc class at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, and I am also active internationally as a freelance musician.
Why
Good question.
Elective Affinities
Besides my passion for the music of the early 16. and 17th century, I am also enthusiastic about the role of the cornettino in the course of the rediscovery of the zinc repertoire.
