Vivianne
Caragea

transverse flute

Roots
I was born in Buzau and grew up in Bucharest, in Romania. At the age of 16 I moved to Munich with my family.

Study
I started my studies in Vienna and then moved to Bern after one year to finish my bachelor’s degree. Now I study at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis for a Master in Performance.

Professional
Besides my studies I have several small jobs with ensembles and in clubs.

Why
Music has always been important to me and has become my own personal language that I can never separate myself from.

Elective Affinities
I am a bookworm. I’m currently obsessed with the Neapolitan writer Elena Ferrante.

Something else
I trust my instincts and therefore always pay attention to my gut feeling. So questions like “How do you feel?” are always useful in making decisions on different occasions.
