Tommaso
Simonetta Sandri

Renaissance transverse flute

Roots
I was born and raised in Italy, in Milan.

Study
In 2019, I graduated from the Milan Conservatory for the first time. I then continued my studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, where I received a bachelor’s degree in traverso with Marc Hantaï and Johanna Bartz in 2021 and am now pursuing a master’s degree in Renaissance, Baroque and Classical-Romantic flute.

Professional
Besides my music studies, I work as a freelance musician and also study psychology at the Università degli Studi di Milano Bicocca.

Why
I chose this profession because I have always been fascinated by the possibility of traveling and meeting new people and cultures.

Elective Affinities
I love video games and culinary experiences at the best restaurants in the world.

Something else
Curiosity and motivation are the most important ingredients to improve as a musician:in.
