Roots
I was born in Italy, in Reggio Emilia, near Bologna.
Study
In Italy I studied trumpet and voice and then moved to Basel to study voice with Gerd Türk at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.
Professional
I am a freelance singer, working as a soloist, but also very much enjoying working in ensembles and choirs – with a repertoire ranging from medieval to contemporary music (which I love very much!). In parallel, I teach voice training in Lenzburg and work as a freelance manager for various ensembles in Basel.
Why
I learned to read music before I could read a text – my path was already mapped out when I was 5 years old!
Elective Affinities
What has definitely changed my life is backpacking, which I’ve been doing solo around the world for a few years now.
