Voice (Soprano)
Roots
Although I was born in Basel, as a child I often spent time in the summer months in my mother’s home country, the USA.
Study
When I was a kid, I moved around the Academy of Music campus a lot. Thus, my studies began there. I studied in Basel and Detmold.
Professional
Currently I live a nice balance of freelancing as a singer – solo and in ensembles – and a small workload as a singing teacher and voice coach for children and teenagers. I appreciate it very much, both on stage and in the “Workshop” to be allowed to work.
Why
Vocation perhaps? In any case, this profession fulfills me and makes me deeply happy again and again with all its colorful facets.
Elective Affinities
For me, the move away from Basel was very valuable. I was able to get to know and define myself anew, so that I could then reconnect with my roots in Basel.
