Bass flute

Roots
Zaragoza, Spain

Study
I completed my bachelor’s degree in modern flute in Zaragoza. After that I studied transverse flute for two years in Barcelona at the ESMUC and for four years in Basel at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Marc Hantaï.

Professional
I am a freelance musician. I created my own ensemble called La Guirlande, which focuses on music of the XVIII and XIX centuries, in which the flute plays the main role. We also invest a lot of work in the revival of forgotten Spanish music from the XVIII century. I also teach transverse flute at the ESMUC in Barcelona.

Why
I have been interested in music since I was a small child, and my flute teachers have always supported me, as I had good conditions to become a professional musician.

Elective Affinities
I love miniature painting and model making. Board games and video games are also among my hobbies, as well as going to the movies and reading books. Besides, food is one of my greatest passions.
