Roots
I come from a village near Darmstadt in Germany.
Study
I first studied modern oboe at the Musikhochschule in Weimar and then continued my studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Baroque oboe and Renaissance instruments.
Professional
As a musician I am internationally on the road with medieval/renaissance as well as baroque music. I am also involved in a music school for young musicians.
Why
Actually, I don’t feel like I chose this career path, it rather stuck with me. 😉
Elective Affinities
I have diverse interests, but you also have to have your dark sides, that makes you attractive and mysterious.
