Although I was born in France, I moved to Brazil when I was six months old, where I then grew up.
Study
At the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.
Professional
I work as a freelance singer and lutenist with early music ensembles in Switzerland and abroad. I have a special interest in improvisational practices and the connection between rhetoric and music, with a focus on music from the 14th to the 17th century – whenever possible from original notation.
Why
Because I find it fascinating! And it allows me to be flexible with my time.
Also, the music forces us to keep practicing – it never gets boring.
Elective Affinities
I love hiking and traveling with my wife and our daughter. Cleaning the house is a kind of therapy for me, just when the work gets too exhausting.
